Awareness Night: Youth Risk Behavior Survey Results
On May 1, 2013, Brooklyn City Schools hosted a Community Awareness Night. The purpose of the program was to raise awareness of the behaviors that are affecting our students and families, as well as provide access to resources available within the community. 9th Grade Students Participate in STEM Conference for Women
On Friday, April 26th, the 9th grade AVID girls enrolled in geometry class participated in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Conference for Women at Polaris Career Center and Tri-C. During the conference, they attended presentations and participated in hands-on workshops that were coordinated by local female career speakers.
