Thank you to everyone in the Brooklyn Community for your support!  The students of Brooklyn City Schools are forever grateful for the support of the community at the polls on May 7th.  This was our opportunity to show Cuyahoga County that we are alive and well and want our children to have safe, secure 21st century learning spaces. 

On May 1, 2013, Brooklyn City Schools hosted a Community Awareness Night. The purpose of the program was to raise awareness of the behaviors that are affecting our students and families, as well as provide access to resources available within the community. During the program, a sampling of statistics from the Youth Risk Behavior Survey was shared.  View Information >>

Through Cleveland Metroparks programming offered free of charge, our fourth grade students traveled back in time to learn about the Ohio and Erie Canal.  Read Article >>

On Friday, April 26th, the 9th grade AVID girls enrolled in geometry class participated in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Conference for Women at Polaris Career Center and Tri-C. During the conference, they attended presentations and participated in hands-on workshops that were coordinated by local female career speakers.
