Brooklyn High School senior Jerry Oquendo was recently recognized by The Math Corps Cleveland with an Excellence in Teaching award for displaying dedication, commitment and hard work during the 2018 Summer Camp program.
English Language Arts teacher Mr. Ken Rademaker was recently recognized as Brooklyn High School’s October Teacher of the Month for setting a strong example in utilizing AVID instructional strategies in the classroom and showing positive support for his students at numerous school events.

Congrats to Mr. Ken Rademaker for being Teacher of the month. Rad teaches ELA III and 8th grade ELA and has done an amazing job using AVID lessons to increase student engagement in his classroom. Rad also is at many school events and is a strong advocate for students.
