Principal's Message

Annie Hostetler

I can hardly believe we are talking about registration for the 2018-2019 school year already.  Registration nights will take place on Wednesday, February 21st and Thursday, February 22nd.  Incoming 8th grade students (current 7th grade students) will meet in the auditorium at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 21st.  Incoming 9th and 10th grade students (current 8th and 9th grade students) will meet the same night at 6:45 P.M. in the auditorium.  Incoming 11th and 12th grade students (current 10th and 11th grade students) will meet Thursday, February 22nd at 6:00 P.M.  The mandatory College Credit Plus meeting will take place immediately following at 6:45 P.M. on Thursday, February 22nd.  These registration meetings are important because it gives both parents and students an opportunity to learn about all of the educational opportunities available for our students.  If you have missed the meeting or have any questions, you may refer to the presentations saved on the high school web page.  Please contact your student's school counselor if you have any questions regarding registration.  Parent/teacher conferences are March 1st.  Please use this opportunity to discuss the progress of your student with his or her teachers.  With all of the talk to registration and conferences, Spring must also be right around the corner.  Please join us for this year's spring musical production of Beauty and the Beast.  The Broadway show will be presented in the High School/Middle School auditorium on March 8th & 9th at 7:00pm and on March 10th at 2:00pm & 7:00pm.  More than 120 students are involved in this year's production.  Spring also means testing.    All testing schedules will be sent home in the student's registration packet.  Please review those schedules with your son or daughter and contact a teacher, counselor or administrator with any questions.  I look forward to these assessments allowing our students to showcase their abilities and I wish all of the students the best of luck as we get closer to these important testing dates.  Please feel free to contact my office with any questions.  I look forward to seeing you at one of our many events in the upcoming weeks.
