Brooklyn Schools is proud to announce that it will begin implementing Google Suite for Education for the 2017-2018 School year. This free to schools service provided by Google will give students access to 21st learning and productivity tools. More information and answers to some FAQs are found below:
What is G Suite?
G Suite is a set of productivity and learning tools offered to educational institutions. These tools are similar to Microsoft Office but offer the added flexibility of access and storage. Any time a student logs into their Brooklyn Google account from any device, they will find all of their stored documents. Learn more about Google cloud-based apps here: http://learn.googleapps.com
What is my G Suite Username?
Your G Suite username is your Brooklyn Computer Username followed by “@bcshurricnes.org” Your G Suite password should be the same as your computer login password. If this is not the case, please contact the district technology department.
Can I access my account from my home computer?
Yes! Your G Suite can be accessed from any computer. In addition, you can access your files from your mobile device either through a web browser or
using the G Suite apps.
Why is there no Gmail?
Currently, Gmail for Brooklyn G Suite accounts has been disabled.
