Varsity Hockey Team Wins Division Championship

Brooklyn City Schools congratulates its Varsity Hockey Team for their Division Championship.

This has been a special season as the team has accomplished numerous achievements.  They currently have a record of 21 wins and only 2 losses.  They went undefeated in league play and currently have an 11 game winning streak.  In January, the team won the Parma MLK Tournament in a double overtime thriller, defeating rival and division two opponent, Parma Senior High.

The best word to describe these young men would be PERSEVERANCE.   The seniors on this team began their career with a winless freshman year going 0-16-1.  They followed that season up with a 4-win season their sophomore year.  Last year, as juniors, the team continued to improve and won 11 games.  Now, their senior year, the team can be called Champions!

There were obstacles

There were doubters

There were mistakes

But with HARD WORK and PERSEVERANCE, the SUCCESS came and look at them now!
