This course is centered around American literature and composition. The students will learn about literature from the following time frames: Colonial and Revolutionary War, Early National and American Romantic, Civil War and Reconstruction, and American Modern and Postmodern. Students will be assessed through comprehension, writing, and participation. They are also required to complete notes in Cornell Notes form.
