The annual Spaghetti Dinner that benefits the Support Our Schools organization, the levy committee for the Brooklyn City Schools, took place over the weekend and attracted hundreds of supporters for the District. Taking place between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 25th, the Spaghetti Dinner featured tasty pasta dishes, along with salad, rolls, desserts and soft drinks. More than 40 raffle baskets were generously donated and auctioned off for participants. Brooklyn High School choral and performing arts groups entertained the audience throughout the entire evening. Superintendent Dr. Mark Gleichauf was in attendance along with High School Principal Bill Wingler and Brooklyn Elementary Principal Cristin Cicco to help serve volunteers. Board of Education members were present as well. Committee Chairpersons Cathie and Pat Flanagan helped promote various aspects of donation and participation along with their children. Thank you to everyone who helped to make the Spaghetti Dinner a success!
