Dear Brooklyn School students and families,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I introduce myself to you! My name is Johnny Bollin and I am the new principal at Brooklyn School. I know we have learned many things during the past year. Among the most significant of those have been a renewed understanding of the importance of Family, Relationships, and Kindness. I can’t wait to see you all here at Brooklyn School!

As we prepare for the start of the 2021-22 school year, students should expect a grand welcome back to all-in learning that is centered on building and reconnecting relationships. In doing so, we will seek to help each student grow academically while meeting their social- emotional learning needs.  At Brooklyn School, our hope is that each student will become the best Hurricane they can be by the end of the year! Our caring teachers and staff are dedicated to helping students learn and achieve. Students are expected to be prepared, work hard, and have a positive attitude each day. Let’s continue to grow together as Hurricanes!

As an important reminder for parents, the Brooklyn City School District will return to an in-person, five days a week learning schedule for the 2021-22 school year.
