From the Desk of Superintendent Caleris - Wishing a Safe and Enjoyable Spring Break!

Dear Brooklyn Families,

It is hard to believe we are in the last quarter of the school year. While winter seemed like it would never relent, spring is finally here! I am reminded that this portion of the school year is about the growth of all of our students. As we enter the final months of the 2021-22 school year, I would like to take the opportunity to encourage every student to continue to put forth their best effort and achieve a strong finish!

This school year has been like no other year, and I am continuously reminded why our Hurricane Nation continues to stand out among other school districts in Northeast Ohio. From academics and athletics to performing and fine arts opportunities, Brooklyn’s students have displayed creativity, determination, and pride in all their pursuits. I want to thank all of our students, staff, and families for their continued support, and I am excited for the many end-of-the-year activities that have become a tradition in the district.

2nd Annual Hurricane Town Hall Community Update- Wednesday, April 6th

On Wednesday, April 6th, the Brooklyn City Schools will be hosting its 2nd Annual Hurricane Town Hall Community Update, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Brooklyn Community Room (HS Room 173). Superintendent Caleris and Treasurer Aholt along with building administrators will present the school community with an opportunity to hear updates on a variety of school-related topics. Parents and community members will also be able to participate in a Question-and-Answer session. The event will also be livestreamed for viewing by visiting the district’s YouTube channel. Whether in-person or online, please consider attending this year’s Hurricane Town Hall Community Update for important news and updates related to the Brooklyn City Schools.

Have an Enjoyable Spring Break!
