Brooklyn City Schools Recognize Community’s Senior Citizens with Hurricane Club

Senior citizens in the community should remain on the lookout as they will soon be offered a unique opportunity on behalf of the Brooklyn City Schools to attend certain co-curricular events for free admission. Called the Senior Citizens Hurricane Club, the District is very interested in engaging with our community’s senior citizens with the hopes of further informing them and sharing all of the great things taking place in our schools. Free admission opportunities will be available to events such as girls’ and boys’ varsity athletic events and select activities of the performing arts organizations. Senior citizens should remain on the lookout in the very near future for a special mailer that includes a letter from Superintendent Dr. Mark Gleichauf, a calendar of upcoming events and an exclusive membership card. Senior citizens are encouraged to check their mail in the near future to take advantage of this special opportunity. The Brooklyn City Schools values our senior citizens and hopes to express our collective gratitude with the Senior Citizens Hurricane Club.
