Homecoming Court Visits Brooklyn Senior Center

Homecoming Court

Members of the 2019 BHS Homecoming Court visited the Brooklyn Senior Center on Thursday, October 3, 2019, to meet and interact with senior citizens from the community.  During the noon-time event, students introduced themselves to those in attendance, sharing about their involvement in co-curricular activities and plans after graduation.  All attendees were greatly impressed with our Brooklyn students and their involvement in the school community.  Superintendent Mark Gleichauf also addressed senior citizens at the luncheon event by thanking them for their continued support of the Brooklyn City Schools.  Dr. Gleichauf also shared information about Issue 2, a renewal levy on the November 5th ballot that will NOT raise taxes for residents.  The winners of the 2019 Homecoming Court will be officially crowned at a pregame ceremony before the home game against Trinity High School at Brooklyn Stadium on Friday, October 4th.  Tomorrow’s Homecoming Game is scheduled to start at 7 PM.  The Brooklyn High School 2019 Homecoming Court includes Marcos Villanueva, Akeria Walker, Gavin Supek, Jaden Walz, Aaron Wrost, Alyssa Helmick, Ian Krall, Madison Betancourt, Nick Baldwin and Zoe Cyinger.

Congratulations to our Homecoming Court on a fantastic job and for proudly representing the Brooklyn City Schools!
