Homecoming Pep Rally Energizes Brooklyn City Schools

2019 Homecoming Court

Brooklyn High School hosted a Hurricane Pride filled pep rally on Friday, October 4th in anticipation of the Homecoming Game against Trinity High School that evening.  The Hurricanes Marching Band kicked off the event by parading through the hallways to lead students into the gymnasium.  Student-athletes and coaching staff from each fall sports team were given the opportunity to address the entire student body with an update on their team’s respective season.  The pep rally also featured impressive performances by members of the Cheerleading squads and The Hurricettes.  The 2019 Homecoming Court participated in a series of fun games on the gym floor, including musical chairs while wearing a blindfold, and an activity inspired by the classic children’s game Hungry, Hungry Hippo.  Thank you to all teachers and staff for celebrating school spirit!  Go Hurricanes!
