The Brooklyn City Schools proudly congratulate Brooklyn High School student Savannah David for having an original piece of artwork selected for display at the Ohio House of Representatives Student Art Exhibition in Columbus! Savannah’s black and white photograph joins a select group of visual art submissions by students in grades 9-11 from each of the 99 districts in the Ohio House of Representatives. Each student artist recognized will receive a $100 award for their work which will be professionally matted and framed for display from June 2020 through June 2021 at the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts in the hallway connector from the Riffe Center to the Ohio Statehouse. The art exhibition is free and open to the public during the following days/times: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 AM to 5 PM; Thursdays, 10 AM to 8 PM; and Saturdays, 11 AM to 4 PM.
