Channel 5 Meteorologist Trent Magill made a surprise visit with 4th grade students at Brooklyn School during the morning of Thursday, March 5, 2020.  Mr. Magill happily accepted an invitation from 4th grade teacher Mrs. Maysey to be the “mystery reader” for the day.  During his visit, Mr. Magill read a children’s book titled Snow Day! to both 4th grade classes in Mrs. Maysey’s room.  An interactive question and answer session followed, where Mr. Magill shared about his daily job duties as a meteorologist, educational background, experiences being a storm chaser before pursuing a job in television journalism, as well as personal interests such as baseball and kayaking.  The session ended with Mr. Magill recording the combined 4th grade classrooms delivering an energized greeting that will air this Friday, March 6, 2020, between 6:30 – 7:00 AM on Channel 5’s Good Morning Cleveland broadcast.  Be sure to tune in this Friday morning to watch Brooklyn’s 4th graders greet Northeast Ohio viewers!  Finally, thank you to Channel 5 Meteorologist Trent Magill for spending time with and inspiring our students!
