    In response to the coronavirus outbreak, the Brooklyn City School District will remain closed now through the end of the 2019-2020 school year per Governor DeWine’s order. Brooklyn Schools Receives National Recognition for Middle and High School Satellite STEM Programs Provided in Partnership with Polaris Career Center

PLTW Distinguished School Award

Brooklyn School and Brooklyn High School were recently designated as Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Distinguished Schools and recognized for providing innovative educational opportunities for students through Polaris Career Center middle and high school satellite STEM programs. Brooklyn School joins a select group of 176 Polaris middle school satellite STEM program locations nationwide to be recognized for increasing student access, engagement, and achievement. Brooklyn High School also joins a small group of 143 high schools nationwide to receive the designation for a high level of student enrollment in PLTW courses and completion of End-of-Course (EoC) assessments among other required criteria. Project Lead the Way is a national organization which provides innovative and engaging STEM-based learning resources for students and teachers across the United States. The Brooklyn City Schools are proud to partner with Polaris Career Center to provide our students with STEM-based knowledge and skills for future success in college and career opportunities.
