Jr Hurricettes at 2021 Hurricane Community Rally

A sense of excitement, anticipation, and Hurricane Pride filled Brooklyn Stadium during the Welcome Back to School 2021 Hurricane Community Rally on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. The fun-filled event provided Brooklyn students, families, and staff an opportunity to celebrate the forthcoming start of the 2021-22 school year with a variety of student performances and presentations. Brooklyn High School’s Marching Band and Hurricettes kicked-off the rally with a spirited K-12 student led parade from the High School to Brooklyn Stadium. During the program, the Brooklyn City Schools community enjoyed a presentation of fall athletic teams and coaches, Marching Band, Hurricettes, and members of the Class of 2021. The Hurricane Marching Band, Hurricettes, and Jr. Hurricettes delivered an impressive preview of their fall performance routines as well. The Brooklyn City Schools would like to thank everyone who attended and helped to make the Welcome Back to School 2021 Hurricane Community Rally a success!
