Alison Rafter Named Division III Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Brooklyn High School Girls Soccer Coach Alison Rafter who was recently recognized as the 2021 Greater Cleveland Soccer Association Division III Coach of the Year. The award is a fitting conclusion to an unforgettable season during which Coach Rafter guided the Girls Soccer team to a school best 11-3-1 record and playoff appearance! Coach Rafter also oversaw record setting performances by two of the team’s captains, as Delaney David broke the school record for most goals scored in a season (34), and Emily Gerry recorded the most assists in a season (34). Coach Rafter was recognized for her proud achievement at the 2021 Fall Sports Awards Night on Thursday, November 18th. On behalf of the Brooklyn City Schools, congratulations once again to Girls Soccer Coach Alison Rafter on her award-winning leadership during the 2021 season!
