Brooklyn Basketball Players Participate in GCBCA All Star Games

Senior Savannah David and Junior Shariah Gailes at the 2022 Greater Cleveland Basketball Coaches Association All Star Game

Congratulations to BHS Seniors Jacob Sullivan and Savannah David, and Junior Shariah Gailes who had the special honor of playing in the Greater Cleveland Basketball Coaches Association (GCBCA) All-Star Game at Gilmour Academy on Wednesday, April 6th. All three student-athletes were nominated by their head coaches based on their stellar individual performances and accomplishments this past season and were accepted by the GCBCA to play in the All-Star competition with fellow Northeast Ohio players. Voted Third Team All-District and First Team All-Chagrin Valley Conference (CVC), Jacob was awarded the Overall MVP Award by his coaches and helped lead the Hurricanes to a 12-win season and first home playoff win in school history. Shariah was named First Team All-Chagrin Valley Conference (CVC) and Second Team All-District. Savannah served as a team captain, earning the Team Captain Award and was also a four-year varsity letter winner. Both Shariah and Savannah were key contributors to the success of the Lady Hurricanes basketball team which had a 15-8 winning record this season. Congratulations to Jacob, Savannah, and Shariah on being recognized for their proud athletic accomplishments! Go Hurricanes!
