A strong sense of Hurricane Pride was on display at Brooklyn High School during Homecoming Week 2022, from September 26th through Saturday, October 1st. To help build anticipation and excitement for the Homecoming Football Game and Dance, students were encouraged to participate in fun Spirit Week themed clothing days, which included bikers versus surfers, class colors, Middle School throwback day, and dress like Adam Sandler day. On Friday, September 30th, students showed their school spirit by wearing blue and gold and attended an exciting Pep Rally in the gym. During the event, members of the Homecoming Court were introduced and participated in several fun challenges, including a tug-of-war matchup versus staff members. On Friday night, the Brooklyn Hurricanes Marching Band and Hurricettes led a parade featuring the Homecoming Court from the High School to Brooklyn Stadium. During the halftime show, middle school students and alumni joined the Marching Band and Hurricettes for a spirited performance. BHS students returned to the High School on Saturday night for an unforgettable Homecoming Dance. Congratulations to all Brooklyn High School students for a successful and Hurricane Pride filled Homecoming Week!
