On Tuesday, November 15th, the Brooklyn City Schools, and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce co-sponsored its first Business Advisory Breakfast at the Brooklyn Senior Center. Approximately thirty local businesses were represented at the event, which provided an opportunity to learn more about various initiatives taking place in the District and the Chamber of Commerce. Presenters included Superintendent Dr. Theodore Caleris, Brooklyn High School Principal Brian Hare, and Chamber of Commerce President Jessica Cliff. Participants also had the opportunity to network with other members of the local business community. The Business Advisory Breakfast was a success and will help to lay the groundwork for future internship opportunities and job experiences for Brooklyn students.
