The Brooklyn community joined together once again through the annual Brooklyn Cares Holiday Wishes program to help local families in need. Approximately seventy families were served with donations of food and personal care items, as well as gifts that were unique to each family’s situation near the side door of the Brooklyn Board of Education offices on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Nearly one-hundred entities, consisting of individuals and organizations, including staff from the Brooklyn City Schools supported Brooklyn Cares with donated goods and funds. Thank you to all supporting individuals, businesses, and organizations for their generosity and kindness on behalf of local families this holiday season!
