Brooklyn families joined together for a celebration of math fluency and vocabulary along with some magic at the annual Family Math Night event on Monday, January 23, 2023. Presented by the Brooklyn City Schools and Brooklyn PTA, the event began in the Brooklyn School cafeteria with pizza and other refreshments. Families and staff then walked down to the Auditorium for a fun Math Magic Show performed by Mr. Zap. Students had a blast participating in the show and learning how math can be found all around them. Following the show, families had the opportunity to play a variety of games suited to different grade levels in Brooklyn School classrooms, including Addition Connect Four, Math Vocabulary Bingo, and Card-Game Math. A special thank you to the Brooklyn PTA for their support and thank you to all participating families for attending this year’s Family Math Night!
