The 2018-2019 School Year officially came to a close earlier this week as students and staff members at all grade levels bid a final farewell to each other before departing for summer break. The last official day of school, Tuesday, June 4, 2019, comes on the heels of the Brooklyn High School Commencement Ceremony, which took place this past Sunday, June 2, 2019 where approximately 100 seniors officially graduated. Throughout the District, high school students finished their final exams. Elementary students enjoyed a variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities. The common emotion of joy and fulfillment ran throughout the hallways of the High School and Brooklyn School. On behalf of everyone in the Brooklyn City Schools, have a safe, smart and enjoyable summer break.
